David A Meyers

David Alan Meyers, 66, of Union City, IN passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at Reid Health Hospice of Richmond, IN. He was born, July 28, 1957, in Dayton, OH, the son of Leon and Huldah Jane Gantt (Burton) Meyers. He was a graduate of Greenville High School. He honorably served in and retired from the US Navy. 

He enjoyed his leisure time motorcycle riding, camping, playing pool with his friends and listening to music. 

David was a loving husband and father and will be missed. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Debra Meyers; a son, Benjamin Meyers; siblings, Joanne and James Williams, William Gantt II, Matthew Gantt, Carla Weiner, Russell and Carla Meyers; a step sister, Brenda (Berri) Cannon; a sister in law, Vera Meyers; a brother in law, Thomas Kanaszka; step father, William J Gantt; step mother, Hazel Meyers; and numeral nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Scott.

There will be a celebration of life at the Old American Legion Building, 318 W. Pearl St., Union City, IN 47390, Saturday, April 20th, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.. Invitation is open to all. BYOB & Covered Dish.
