Barbara Ann Toland, 90, of Winchester, IN passed away Tuesday evening, July 12, 2022, at Parker Health & Rehabilitation Center of Parker City, IN. She was born May 2, 1932, in Muncie, IN the daughter of Ernest and Amilia (Gilda) Dominick. She was a graduate of Muncie Central High School.
Barbara had worked with Meals on Wheels, but most enjoyed her work as a homemaker. She was a member St. Joseph Catholic Church of Winchester, IN. She made baby blankets for new members of the parish.
She leaves to cherish her memory a loving husband of 70 years, William; three sons, Stephen Toland (wife, Lori) of Winchester, William Toland, Jr. of Winchester, IN, John Toland (Debra) of Virginia; daughter, Diana Sheppler of Florida; six grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Kathleen Sue; a grandson, Christopher; two brothers, James and William Dominick.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 19, 2022, at St. Joseph Catholic Church of Winchester, IN. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery of Maxville, IN. Family and friends may gather to share and remember from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday, July 18th at Wilson Shook Funeral Home, Thornburg Memorial Chapel of Parker City, IN. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association. Envelopes will be provided at the funeral home. Online condolences may be expressed at www.wilsonshookfh.com.
