Daniel David Fraga, Sr. went home to be with Jesus on Sunday, February 27, 2022, at the
Mayo Clinic St. Mary’s campus hospital in Rochester, Minnesota.He was born to Thomas Patrick Fraga Sr. and Danielle Hope (Lambert) Fraga Burke on November 15, 1963. He was a 1982 graduate of Wapahani High School.
Daniel worked as an electrician for the IBEW Local 855 union, for over 25 years, until his health forced his retirement. After retiring he worked part time at the Randolph County Jail as a jail officer. He was a certified Red Cross CPR and first aid instructor, teaching mainly at the union hall. He was an active member of Muncie Christian Center Church, overseeing their Food Pantry Ministry for seven years, as well as doing the sound ministry and many other church jobs. Daniel’s hobbies included his horses, fishing, playing his guitar, watching his western movies and tv shows, and he especially loved doing things with his grandkids.
He was proceeded in death by his parents, and his step- father Malcolm Burke.
Survivors include his wife Electa, his daughter Maria (husband Tim) King, son Daniel David Jr. (wife Deidre) and 8 grandchildren. Surviving siblings include his brother Thomas Patrick Fraga Jr. (wife Theda) of Hamilton, Ohio sisters: Tina (husband Dave) Riegle, of Yorktown, Dale Stamper of Yorktown, Rebecca Dillon of Selma , and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Saturday, March 5th at Wilson Shook Funeral Home, Thornburg Memorial Chapel of Parker City, IN, with Pastor Tim King officiating. Calling hours are from 12:00-2:00 Saturday, with the service at 2:00. Burial will be at the Union cemetery in Windsor.
