Dennis Isenbarger Obituary

Dennis Isenbarger, 74, of Dunkirk, IN passed away February 2, 2023 at IU Health, Ball Memorial Hospital of Muncie, IN. He was born June 4, 1948 in Portland,IN the son of Richard and Sarah (Landon) Isenbarger. He was a 1966 graduate of Dunkirk High School and was a proud Speedcat. 

Dennis honorably served 6 years in the US Air Force, during the Vietnam War. After being discharged he worked as a Civil Servant for the US Air Force.

He leaves to cherish his memory a loving wife of 20 years (July 26, 2003), Marilyn; a son, Dennis Isenbarger (wife, Joanne) of Clayton, NC; a daughter, Cori Barth of York, PA; two stepdaughters, Lisa Evans (husband, John) of Portland, IN and Shelly Ray (husband, Tim) of Albany, IN; grandchildren, Connor, Molly and Devlin Barth, all of Wilmington, DE, Elizabeth Isenbarger of Clayton, NC, Lyndee Wellman (husband, Ryan) of Bryant, IN, Lauren Evans of New Bremen, OH, and Mariah Lawrence and Gavin Ray of Albany, IN.; four great-grandchildren with one more due Feb. 10; two sisters, Linda Clay (husband, Mick) of Muncie, IN and Cris Isenbarger of Anderson, IN; sisters-in-law, Debbie McCaffery (husband, Tim) and Brenda Wise of Dunkirk, IN; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.

There will be no services at Dennis’s request. Memorial contributions may be made to the Dunkirk American Legion, 118 West Commerce St., Dunkirk, IN 47336.
