Dorothy (Franklin) Hoover

Dorothy Hoover, 88, of Muncie, IN passed away Sunday, April 9, 2023 at Morrison Woods Health Campus, Muncie, IN. She was born June 23, 1934 in Manson, TN. the daughter of Osa and Cledie Franklin. She was a past member of Women's Moose of Muncie; Fellowship Baptist Church, Muncie; She was a loving mother and grandmother. Her family meant the world to her, as she did to them. She leaves to cherish her memory four children, Donna Rhodes (husband, Bill), Kathy Hoover (husband, Mike), Lynn Winningham (husband, Mark) and Nick Hoover (wife, Shawn); five grandchildren, Chris Rhodes (wife, Janelle), Anthony Winningham, Dustie Goodman (husband, Bobby), Hunter Hoover and Dakota Hoover; nine great grandchildren, Macie, Dylan, McKenzie, Brianna, Dru, Jesseca, Kadyn and Brady, and Brennen; and eight great-great grandchildren, Nate, Ryleigh, Daniel, William, Landan, Jaxan, Gatlan and Greysen; a sister, Wilma Thomas; and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; a husband, Hubert "Bud"; brother, Shirley; and three sisters, Joyce, Irene and Sadie. Services will be at a later date. Burial will be in Mt. Tabor Cemetery.
