Douglas Wayne Huff

Douglas Wayne Huff, 62, of Lynn, Indiana passed away Thursday, February 10, 2022 at his residence. He was born March 3, 1959, in Richmond, IN, the son of George Huff and JoAnn (Cormican) Austin. He honorably served in the US Army.

Doug had worked as a welder for York Casket for 15 years, and previously for Parmi Co. He was a gun enthusiast having membership in the NRA and was a lover of classic cars. He was a supporter of Wreaths Across America and Riley Children’s Hospital. He had a special love for his grandsons.

He leaves to cherish his memory a son, Tyler Shane Huff of Lynn, IN; two brothers, Steve Huff (wife, Angela) and Greg Austin (wife, Cindy), all of Lynn, IN; a sister, Carla Nicholson (husband, Terry); two grandsons, Christian Huff and Koorsen Gragg; a brother-in-law, Steve Casey; and a special friend, Kathy. He was preceded in death by his parents; a stepfather, William Austin; and two sisters, Marsha Musser and Debbie Casey.

A service to celebrate Doug’s life will be 6:00 p.m. Thursday, February 17, 2022, at Wilson Shook Funeral Home, Thomas Memorial Chapel of Lynn, IN. Burial will be in Quaker Lynn, IN. Family and friends may gather to share and remember from 5:00 p.m. to service time, Thursday, at the funeral home.
