Duane Wise

Duane Wise, 93, of Lynn, IN passed away Friday evening, March 10, 2023, at Friends Fellowship Community of Richmond, IN. He was born October 17, 1929 in Lynn, IN, the son of Cecil J and Mattie Wise. Duane was a lifelong farmer of Randolph County, retiring in 1999. He enjoyed spending his leisure time practicing his talent of Woodworking; He leaves to cherish his memory a loving wife of 73 years, Betty; a son, Rick Wise (wife, Bernadette) of Avon, IN; a grandson, Eric Wise (wife, Amber) of Indianapolis, IN; a great grandson, Jeffrey Wise; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by parents; brothers, Keith Wise and Leon Wise. A service to celebrate Duane's life will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at Wilson Shook Funeral Home, Thomas Memorial Chapel of Lynn, IN. Burial will follow in Spartanburg Cemetery. Family and friends may gather to share and remember from 12:00 p.m. to service time, at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Spartanburg United Methodist Church 6798 S.
