Ermalee (Mills) Holaday

Ermalee Holaday, 95, of Muncie, IN, formerly of Randolph County, passed away Thursday morning, November 17, 2022 at Lynd Place of Muncie, IN. She was born March 18, 1927 in Maxville, IN, the daughter of Omer and Ruthanna (Swingley) Mills. Ermalee leaves to cherish her memory a son, Larry Holaday (wife, Cindy) of Farmland, IN; two daughters, Diane Lewis (husband, John) of Farmington Hills, MI and Gaila Swift (husband, Ron) of Shelbyville, IN; a daughter-in-law, Pat; 12 grandchildren, Noah, Caleb, Nichole, Brian, Carrie, Ben, Heather, John, Mark, Kyle, Jodi and Rachel; and several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James E. Holaday; son, Kim Holaday; and a grandson, Mark Clevenger. A service to celebrate Ermalee's life will be 1:00 p.m., Monday, November 21, 2022, at Wilson Shook Funeral Home, Thornburg Memorial Chapel of Parker City, IN, with John Lewis as Celebrant. Burial will follow in Buena Vista Cemetery of Unionport, IN. Family and friends may gather to share and remember from 12:00 p.m. to service time on Monday, November 21st.
