Frederick Eugene Jones, 85, a charismatic and generous man, passed away on May 17, 2023, with his loving family. Born on June 15, 1937, in Evansville, IN, Frederick spent 76 years in Muncie, Indiana, where he built a life filled with love, laughter, and a deep commitment to his family. A devoted husband to Anita Jones, his wife of six years, Frederick had a thoughtful and loving nature that endeared him to all who knew him. He honorably served as a Corporal in the United States Marines. He was involved with the testing and implementation of the Atomic Bomb in Nevada, USA. Frederick led an accomplished life, working his way up in the sales division of Indiana Supply until his well-deserved retirement in 1997. He was a boxing judge, an avid Indy Car Racing fan and a true idealist, always dreaming big and encouraging others to do the same. But it was his dedication to his family, children, and grandchildren that truly defined him. Frederick is survived by his wife Anita, his son Dan (Sally), daughter Debbie, sisters Madonna (Ernie) and Peggy Vardaman, and his beloved grandchildren Shelby Kistler (Steven), Johnathon Neeley, Bradley Jones, and Betsy Neeley. He was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and Beulah Jones, and his first wife, Sue Jones. The family invites you to join them in celebrating Frederick's life at the Wilson-Shook Funeral Home and Cremation Center (Thornburg Memorial Chapel) on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at 7:00pm.
