Daryl Halstead, 67, of Farmland, IN passed away suddenly, Thursday, February 16, 2023 at IU Health, Ball Memorial Hospital of Muncie, IN, following a brief illness. He was born March 27, 1955 in Winchester, IN, the son of Glenn Daryl and Patricia Ann Halstead. He was a 1973 graduate of Monroe Central High School. He honorably served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He was a member of Selma American Legion Post 437, Laborers Union 1112, Teamsters Union 135, and the NRA. He leaves to cherish his memory a loving wife, Cindy; mother, Pat; children, Jason (wife, Lori) and daughter, Zoey, and Sarah and daughters, Zariah, Zamorah, and step-daughter, Jennifer and sons, Tyler, Taylor and Trenton; sister, Tracey (husband, Stephen) and children, Sean and Deborah; nephews, Royce and Justin; and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Glenn; a sister Debbie; and his beloved dogs, Duke and Bruiser. There will be no services or calling hours, per his request. Cremation was selected.
