Jackie Sewell

Jackie Levi Sewell, 78, of Parker City, IN passed away late Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at IU Health, Ball Memorial Hospital of Muncie, IN. He was born September 26, 1944, in Muncie, IN, the son of Harvey and Virginia (Goad) Sewell. Jackie retired in 2013, after 10 years as Head of Sewage Dept. for the City of Parker City. He had also worked for Borg Warner for 13 years and Champion Homes of Ridgeville for 10 years. He was a past member of the Parker City Lions Club and Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed spending his leisure time building bird houses and fishing. He leaves to cherish his memory a loving wife of 50 years, Judy Sewell; two daughters, Janet Jenkins (Josh) and Jody Schoonover (Tushar); three granddaughters, Julie (Isaac), Jennifer (Caleb) and Hallie (Trenton). He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Verdon; and an infant brother. A service to celebrate Jack's life will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, April 24, 2023 at Wilson Shook Funeral Home, Thornburg Memorial Chapel of Parker City, IN with Pastor Daniel Edwards officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery of Windsor, IN. Family and friends may gather to share and remember from 11:00 a.m. to service time on Monday, at the funeral home.
