Kathleen (Slick) Sharp Green

Katherine (Slick) Sharp Green, 95, of Lynn, IN passed away Wednesday morning, November 2, 2022 at Randolph Nursing Home of Winchester, IN. She was born December 20, 1926, in Richmond, IN, the daughter of Ralph and Mary (Greene) Slick. She was a 1944 graduate of Spartanburg High School.
Katherine enjoyed spending her leisure time playing Euchre, and Hand and Foot, and crocheting many, many afghan blankets over the years. She loved her family.
She leaves to cherish her memory a son, Lowell Sharp (Rosanna) of London, KY; five daughters, Diana Ozbun (Harold) of Liberty, IN, Marcia Edwards (Bill) of Lynn, IN, Shari Eldridge of Ellenton, FL, Brenda Moody (Mark) Lynn, IN and Audrey Perry (Steve) of Lynn, IN; a sister, Mary Louise Hunt of Winchester, IN; two brothers, Jerry Slick (Ada) of Union City, IN and Joe Slick of Lynn; a sister-in-law, Margo Slick of Lynn, IN; nine grandchildren, Gary, Tammy, Terri, Todd, Shelly, Melinda, Matthew, Ashley and Carlissa; 16 great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her wonderful second husband, Ralph Green; a first husband and the father of her children, Leroy Sharp; a sister, Doris Mae Slick; a brother, Ralph "Tuck" Slick, Jr., a brother-in-law, Virgil Hunt, a sister-in-law, Barbara "Bobbi" Slick' a son-in-law, John Eldridge; and a daughter, Linda Kay Sharp.
A service to celebrate Kate's life will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 7, 2022 at Wilson Shook Funeral Home, Thomas Memorial Chapel of Lynn, IN. Burial will follow in Spartanburg Cemetery of Lynn, IN.
