Kenneth Everett Hobbs, 90, of Ansonia, OH, passed-away late Wednesday evening, September 16, 2020 at Rest Haven Nursing Home of Greenville, OH. He was born February 9, 1930 in Troy, OH the son of Robert and Clara Leona (Russell) Hobbs. He was a 1949 graduate of Jackson High School.
Kenneth retired in 1980 from Sheller Globe in Portland, IN. He later drove a bus with Greenville Transit. He was a 65 year member of the Masonic Lodge, most recently practicing at the Gettysburg Lodge #477. He enjoyed spending his leisure time working on cars and bicycles; and he love to go fishing.
He leaves to cherish his memory two sons, Everett of Union City, IN and Keith (Fiance’, Brandy Malkey) of Union City, OH; two daughters, Karen Neu (husband, Frank) of Union City, OH and Linda Hunt of Winchester, IN; five grandchildren, Jennifer Hensley (Thomas), Jessica Waldrep, Jeanelle Kreider (Andrew), Jamie Hunt and Lindsey Hunt; six great grandchildren, Dallas, Grant, Ally, Lincoln, Holly and Eleanor; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; 1st wife, Marjorie May Hobbs; 2nd wife, Sylvia Hobbs; and a good friend, Gator.
A graveside service will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday, October 1, 2020 at Union City Cemetery of Union City, IN. The family will be having a private visitation.
