Linda Kay Whyde, 57, of Winchester, IN passed away August 22, 2021 at her residence. She was born August 31, 1963 in Grundy, Virginia the daughter of Ira and Christine (Hale) Hamilton. She was a 1982 graduate of Hurley High School of Hurley, WV.
Linda leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Christine Hall (husband, Edward) of Winchester, IN; a son, Toby Snellenberger of Winchester, IN; a brother, Billy Hamilton (wife, Shama) of Albany, IN; two sisters, Connie Meinerding (Nolan Sexton) of Winchester, IN and Jeanette Hamilton of Winchester, IN; three grandchildren, Raven Wheet, Finley and Baileena Hamilton; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father; a sister, Susan K. Hamilton; and a brother, Ira L. Hamilton, Jr.
A service to celebrate Linda’s life will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at Sparrow Creek Friends Church, 4030 W. 50 S. Winchester, IN 47394. Burial will follow in Fountain Park Cemetery of Winchester, IN. Family and friends may gather to share and remember from 12:00 p.m. to service time, Tuesday, at the church.
