Mason Riley Huser, ultimate warrior, born on February 13th, 1999, completed his final battle surrounded by his parents, Chucky and Christy Huser, on June 12th, 2023. Mason was an adventurous old soul and unapologetically himself. His love for his family knew no bounds, and his commitment to his friends was unwavering. He found happiness in spending time with his family and friends, being outdoors hunting and fishing, and playing games. He’s had and continues to have a great impact on those that look up to him and love him. A word that describes Mason to a "T" is altruistic – selfless concern for the well-being of others.
Mason was a skilled welder for Progress Rail, while continuing his education for his craft. He was a lover of all sports, especially wrestling, in which he started at an early age, along with football, baseball, and golf. No matter his interests in life, he was fully devoted and sure to give it his all.
Mason is survived by his loving family, including his father, Charles “Chuck” Huser; his mother, Christy Huser; sister, Andrea Hodson; brother-in-law, Tyler; nephew, Deegan; grandparents, Charles “Chuck” Sr., Joann Huser, and Diana Watt; as well as his uncles, aunts, cousins, and extended family. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Donna Petty and Donald Watt. A visitation will take place on Friday, June 16, 2023, at 4:00 pm EDT at the Farmland Friends Church, located at 8311 Indiana 32, Farmland, Indiana, 47340. A Celebration of Life Services will follow at 7:00 pm. Please join us in commemorating Mason’s life and sharing memories of the impact he made on those around him. Wilson Shook Funeral Home, Thornburg Memorial Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements.
