Michael Leon Straley

Michael L. Straley, 76 of Lynn was born on August 17, 1945 to Donald L. and Faye Cash Straley. He was a 1963 Graduate of Lee Driver High School and married the love of his life, Kaylene Isenbarger Straley of Lynn and continued to live there until his passing on September 10, 2021, from the Covid 19 Virus.

Mike was a Mould maker at Overmyer Mould and Armstrong Mould for 35 years and retired from Henny Penny Corp. in Eaton, Oh. in 2008. He served as the Washington Township Trustee for the past 20 years and previously served on the Lynn Fire Dept. and First Responders. He was an avid reader and enjoyed walking. He most loved spending time with his family.

Mike, “Dad and Papa” leaves to cherish his memory, Kay, his wife of 57 years; children, Krista (David) Naylor of Lynn, Michelle (Terry) Bond of Fountain City and Michael (Tammy) Straley Jr. of Lynn; nine grandchildren, Kyler & Daxton Naylor, Devin (Nathan) McKinney, all of Lynn. Katie, Kristopher & Kody Bond, all of Fountain City, Michael III, Matthew (Miranda) & Miles (Macey) Straley, all of Lynn; five great grandchildren, Isabelle & Benjamin McKinney, Wade & Winsley Straley and Riley Straley, all of Lynn. Mike was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Rex Straley.

The family will be having private services. There will be no public visiting hours. Wilson Shook Funeral Homes, Thomas Memorial Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements.
