Norma Jean Addington, 93, of Winchester, IN passed away Saturday evening, October 8, 2022, at her residence, with loving family by her side. She was born June 14, 1929, in Farmland, IN, the daughter of Arthur and Pansy (Patterson) Heniser. She was a 1947 graduate of Stoney Creek High School and received her Associates Degree from Elkhart School of Business.
Norma retired in 1995, after ten years in the accounting department with Indiana Michigan. She previously worked 30 years as bookkeeper with Randolph Tractor Sales of Winchester, IN.
She leaves to cherish her memory three sons, Wayne Addington (wife, Judith) of Winchester, IN, Mike Addington (wife, Becky) of Rockhill, SC, and Kent Addington of Winchester, IN; a sister, Janet Ross of Winchester, IN; four grandchildren, Quentin Addington (wife, Casey) of Winchester, IN, Brandon Addington (wife, Kayla) of Farmland, IN, Kayla Addington (companion, Brandon) of Los Angeles, CA., Brian Hollowell (wife, Barb) of Portland, OR., and Tina Lemere (husband, Todd) ; 12 great-grandchildren, Riley, Jacoby, Kion, Xander, Avery, Cohen, Gavin, Brooklyn, Drake, Aryah, Bailey and McKenzie; and two great-great grandchildren, Braylon, Harper, Vada and Lenox. She was preceded in death by her parents; a husband, Joseph Addington; and a brother, Dallas “Buddy” Heniser.
A service to celebrate Norma’s life will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, October 13, 2022, at Voice for Christ, Open Bible Church, 2229 IN-32, Winchester, IN 47394. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery of Maxville, IN. Family and friends may gather to share and remember from 11:00 a.m. to service time on Thursday, at the church.
