Patricia Ann (Griffis) Allen

Patricia Ann Allen, 66, of Lynn, IN passed away Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at Miami Valley Hospital of Dayton, OH. She was born April 23, 1955, in Harriman, TN the daughter of Boyd Eugene and Wanda Marcella (Young) Griffis. She was a graduate of Randolph Southern High School of Lynn, IN.

Ann worked for herself for more than 20 years, providing Janitorial Services. She was a member of Spartanburg Christian Church and Circle X. She enjoyed spending her leisure time with her grandchildren, sharing in family adventures.

She leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Marcella Griffis; a loving husband of 47 years, William “Beanie” Allen; a daughter, Sheri Allen (Lee Whiteman) of Daleville, IN; grandchildren, Breann Crowe (Dakota Burke) of Huber Heights, OH and Daniel Ward (Shai'Ann Rodriguez) of Lynn, IN; a great grandson on the way, Blaze; two brothers, Leonard Griffis (Libby) of Kingston, TN and Mark Griffis of Harriman, TN; a sister, Debbie Morris (Drew) of Centerville, IN; other siblings, Kathy, Prissy, Joey, Jordon, Bethany, Bobbie, Faith, Crystal, Danielle and Brandi; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded by her father, Gene Griffis.

A service to celebrate Ann’s life will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 24, 2022, at Wilson Shook Funeral Home, Thomas Memorial Chapel of Lynn, IN with her cousin, Pastor Randy Griffis officiating. Burial will follow in New Liberty Cemetery of Lynn, IN. Family and friends may gather to share and remember from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm Sunday, January 23, 2022 at the funeral home.
