Randall Joe Harmon, 56, of Farmland, IN passed away early Friday morning, August 20, 2021 at his residence, with loving family by his side. He was born June 23, 1965 in Elwood, Indiana the son of Lawrence Calvin and Sharon (Scott) Harman. He was a 1984 graduate of Daleville High School and attending IVY Tech. He honorably served in the Indiana Army National Guard and then actively served in the US Army.
Randy was the previous owner and operator of Harmon’s Restoration, retiring in 2019 and turning the business over to his son. He loved classic cars, working on them and showing them. He was a member of the Daleville Classic Car Club and a car show enthusiast. He loved it all, the people, the cars and even the oldies music. He attended Farmland Friends Church.
He leaves to cherish his memory a loving wife of 27 years, Debbie (Dillon) Harmon, a son, Tyler Harmon of Farmland, IN; a daughter, Mandy Winner of Farmland, IN; two grandchildren, Aubrey Patton and Weston Marcum; his mother, Sharon Harman; a brother, Todd Harman; and nieces. He was preceded in death by his father.
A memorial service to celebrate Randy’s life will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 28, 2021, at the Farmland Friends Church, 8311 State Road 32, Farmland, IN 47340. Like Randy, classic car enthusiast are encouraged to drive your classics to the gathering at the church, from 11:00 a.m. to service time on Saturday, at the church. Randy would want everyone to remember the fun times of attending the classic car shows. Memorial contributions may be made to Cancer Services for Randolph County, 133 N.
