Richard Allen Cline, 86, of Muncie, Indiana passed away Sunday morning, October 2, 2022 at his residence. He was born June 14, 1936 in Parker City, IN, the son of Harrison Ellsworth and Marion Wiladean (Harris) Cline. He was a 1954 graduate of Stoney Creek High School, and attended Ball State University. He honorably served in the US Army. Richard retired in 1998 after 17 years in accounting and 22 years in purchasing with Warner Gear of Muncie, IN. He was a 50 year member and past Master of Whitney Masonic Lodge of New Burlington, IN. He was also a member of Central Indiana Old Car Club. He leaves to cherish his memory a wife, Norma Jean; a granddaughter, Lindsay Temple (husband, Eric) of Waukee, IA; a great-grandson, Leyton Joseph Temple; two sisters, Patricia JoAnn Acree and Linda Kay Clayton. He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Teresa Jo Bebout; a brother, Gary Lee Cline; and a sister, Joyce Gasteneau. A memorial service to celebrate Richard’s life will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at Whitney Masonic Lodge, 8008 S. 475 E. , Selma, IN 47383, with Charles Kirklin officiating. Cremation was selected. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery of Windsor, IN. Memorial contributions may be made to Indianapolis Masonic Home Foundation, 525 N. Illinois St., Indianapolis, IN 46204.
