Thomas “Tom” Lee Orcutt, 78, of Farmland, IN passed away Wednesday evening, August 25, 2021 at Albany Health and Rehabilitation of Albany, IN. He was born September 19, 1942 in Grand Rapids, MI the son of Fred Albert and Geraldine Jeanne ( ) Orcutt.
Tom retired in 1998 as a heavy equipment operator, having worked with numerous businesses. He enjoyed building bird houses and gardening.
He leaves to cherish his memory a loving wife, Jerri; two sons, Bryan Orcutt (wife, Angie) of Yorktown, IN and Thomas Orcutt (wife, Wendy) of Muncie, IN; two stepdaughters, Kelly Reese (husband, Andy) of Anderson, IN and Lisa Reeder (husband, Craig) of Farmland, IN; two brothers, Joe Orcutt (wife, Sherry) of Martinsville, IN and Mick Orcutt of Anderson, IN; two sisters, Marianne Schwartz (husband, Jerry) of Benton, KY and Robin Redman (husband, Johnnie) of Muncie, IN; nine grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, John Orcutt; and step-sons, Steve Winans and Brian Duncan.
A service to celebrate Tom’s life will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at Wilson Shook Funeral Home, Thornburg Memorial Chapel of Parker City, IN. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery of Maxville, IN. Family and friends may gather to share and remember from 11:00 a.m. to service time on Wednesday, at the funeral home.
